Cycleworld as an insulated panel manufacturer specialized in manufacturing PIR and PUR panels. Insulated panels are widely used in the cold chain industry.
Cycleworld is located in Klang and started as a manufacturer primarily for insulated wall panels, but slowly expanded their product range to insulated roofing panels and modular panels. Cycleworld has 4 manufacturing production lines. Cycleworld’s revenue consists of around 50% from overseas sales (mainly focused in South East Asia) and another 50% from local sales.
Cycleworld’s latest 130m (length) state-of-the-art fully automated manufacturing line consists of a 33m double conveyer belt, which is the longest in Malaysia. Cycleworld’s automated line that has a double belt conveyer is crucial in panel manufacturing, and will ensure every fabricated panel has sufficient time in the curing state, and ensures the best quality of the finished panel. Cycleworld’s manufacturing process is also CFC free, because Cycleworld uses Cyclopentane (C5) as their blowing agent.
Insulated panels are widely used in the cold chain industry, for instance, for deep freezer rooms ( -40 C degrees) and many other cold stores ( +5 to -20 C degree). A good insulation product can prevent external heat and maintain the product’s optimum storage temperature, leading to the best practices in all stored products, and freshness is not compromised. Insulated panels are mainly used in food processing plants or factories, cold storage warehouses, pharmaceutical industry, mechanical and engineering plants, clean rooms and even poultry farms. With Cycleworld’s experience, Cycleworld can provide a one stop solution from conceptual design and planning to warehouse solutions (WMS) and automated warehouse (ASRS) solutions to installation and delivery arrangements for both a local and export clientele.
The world is heading towards industry 4.0, and this applies to all Malaysian local businesses. Malaysia’s SME faces tremendous challenges from the recent pandemic – labor shortage, hiring issues and the most recent changes in minimal wage policies. With all these challenges, digitalization, technology investments and automation offer key solutions. In the last 3 years, Cycleworld has started to help clients to design total warehouse solutions using ASRS solutions. ASRS warehouses require professional technical knowledge during the design and planning stage, to material selection and for site management. In 2020, Cycleworld had supplied to a client in Vietnam, to complete an ASRS warehouse that has a whopping capacity of 65,000 pallets; the project was competed in 12 months’ time.
Other than the insulated panel series for the cold chain industry, Cycleworld also manufactures insulated roofing panels and modular panels for factory roofing and residential walls and residential roofing needs.
Insulated building material is highly recommended compared to conventional types of building material because of the insulation and energy efficiency it can offer. Recently, the Malaysian government had introduced stricter rules and regulations surrounding worker quarters, Cycleworld’s modular and roofing panel series offer a suitable solution for quick builds to be used for constructing worker quarter facilities. Currently, Cycleworld’s modular panels are widely use in Sabah, Sarawak and Australia mainly for worker quarters, private houses and other residential purpose.
